DyeStat Discussions - EP410 - Sarah King
Published by
Former Yamhill-Carlton OR and George Fox University athlete Sarah King joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder from Switzerland to discuss how she made the Swiss national team in the women's 4x400 relay. King will represent her mother's native country as part of the Swiss relay pool at the Tokyo Games this summer. King, who won NCAA Division 3 titles at George Fox in Newberg, Ore., is the first athlete from her college to qualify for the Olympics. She won the 400 meters title at the Switzerland national championships on June 27 with a personal best time of 52.99 seconds. In high school, despite qualifying for state four years, she never broke 60 seconds in an open 400.
